I got mine the other day - absolutely gorgeous! The bezel however is a big letdown and rotates way too easily. Sounds tinny too. Anyone have any idea how difficult it would be to prise off and 'fix'?

martygeeozI have a normal seiko monster and did a bezel swap. After I put the new bezel on, there was a slight gap and the bezel functioned well, but moved easy and sounded tinny, similar to what you are saying. I took the bezel gasket off the old bezel and put it on the new one and it resulted in much improvement. Someone also suggested to me to use a "thicker" gasket which could solve my gap issue, but might make it more difficult to turn. Sounds like that might be what you need. The internet is full of tutorials on how to remove bezels from seiko dive watches. I have often scratched the case doing so...be warned about that. Also, I am not sure where to buy a replacement bezel gasket. Even better news...I never use my bezel...so I don't worry about the rotation. The slight gap, in my case, was what caused my dilemma and resulted in a fix. Good luck!
