Military Style, All Dressed Up
The Neo Field SRP is among Seiko’s dressier field watches. It’s clearly styled in the military tradition, with its inner and outer chapter rings, triangle at 12 o’clock, and fifth-second markers. But dressier aspects, such as a domed Hardlex crystal and polished stainless steel case, lend it a touch of cachet. Plus, the coin-edge bezel is stationary, serving more as ornamentation than as a tool for the field.

4R36 Auto Movement & Display Caseback
Equipped with 4R36 automatic movement, the watch can be hand-wound and offers hacking seconds. The dial is adorned with Arabic numerals at all positions except 3 o’clock, which features a day-and-date window. Luminous hands and hour markers, not to mention a lumed counterweight on the seconds hand, allow the watch to be read in dark environments. And for a peek at the movement, the Neo Field SRP features a display caseback.
