I've had an SNK803 for about a year and a half. I haven't measured it in a while, but I think it runs in the neighborhood of -10s/day, which is typical (spec is +/- 15s/day); I could have improved this by having it regulated, probably. Overall, it's a low-profile automatic at a great price point. The 37mm case is thin and the watch is light and comfortable to wear when you're doing athletic things - I still use mine for that even now that I have one of the fancier SKA Seikos. The leather reinforced canvas band isn't great looking but it is pretty durable and reasonably comfortable; you can get other bands pretty cheaply if you prefer something else. Having both day-of-the-week and date displays is nice. The display caseback is nifty.
As others have noted, the water resistance figures given on another website named after a river for the flieger-faced Seiko 5 watches are erroneous - the markings on the caseback say "WATER RESISTANT", which the manual explains to mean that you can wear it in the rain, but it isn't really designed for swimming. The 803, 805, 807, and 809 are all the same in this regard - none of them are rated to 50m or 100m as that other website states.
These watches don't have hacking seconds (second hand doesn't stop when setting the time), so if you like being able to sync to some reference time, they aren't the watch for you.
Finally, do your standard price check before ordering - one of these models is cheaper at the aforementioned river-named store, while three are cheaper here.
