From the canvas-style nylon strap to the utilitarian dial, Seiko’s Flieger SNK automatic watch follows in the tradition of 19th century military-issue watches. The minimalist dial is adorned with lumed Flieger-style hands, lumed hour markers, a triangle at 12 o’clock, and a day-and-date window at 3 o’clock Read More
Wouldn't mind seeing another drop for this watch. I recall Amazon doing one in red. Perhaps Drop could do one in a signature color such as the grayish blues of the old Massdrop? Another shade of red would be welcome as military styled watches tend to not come in that color range.
Well, this watch is broken again. First time around it broke in 3 weeks, the replacement lasted almost years. I'm bummed to know it's not fit to last but at least I got some good wear out of it.
This was my first purchase on Massdrop more than a year ago. I can now say without hesitation that this watch is the worst piece of shit I've ever purchased. Gains more than a minute every day. Second hand does not stop when setting the time. Day/date is very difficult to set properly: every day I find it's wrong again. I am seriously thinking of giving it to the next homeless person I see. I will never buy another Seiko. Fortunately, I've since gotten some very nice stuff from Massdrop, so I'm not holding this entirely against them. But wow. WTF, Seiko? I used to think that they were a quality shop.
chasmunHmm, I have one that changes by only seconds a week. Have you ever thought about tuning it? I don't know how involved it is but you can see the screw that does it if you look trough the case back (has the + and - beside it). Also I find the day/date to be my favorite feature of the watch.
I got my watch. And let me tell you. Anyone worrying this watch is too small need no worry.
My wrist is 19cm/7.5in and here is how it looks.
It's on an leather G10 bracelet.
