elingteysimilar situation recently with the SKX watches.. where the listing DOES NOT REFERENCE a warranty.. emailed back and forth with MassDrop customer support, and they note: If the listing does NOT mention/refer to a warranty.. then: THERE IS NO Warranty.. None. .. I would have purchased the item.. but: for just a few more dollars generally.. there are sources that provide warranty.. I have no idea why they do this.. as: albeit not likely.. there is always the chance a watch could arrive DOA, or develop problems in a short time.. and you're stuck..
MarkLHThe likely reason for no warranty is that Massdrop probably isn't getting watches directly from Seiko or an authorized dealer/distributor. That's why they, and grey market vendors, are able to sell them for considerably less than an AD does. If your watch comes DOA or develops issues within the first 30 days, Massdrop does have a return policy that covers it; past that, you're S.O.L. Go to this link and scroll down to "Return Policy" for full details. > https://www.massdrop.com/terms
Seiko watches are generally pretty robust but with so many being made, lemons do slip through.

yep, I think you're right.. and as noted: MOST Likely a Seiko would be OK.. but: I'd not want to be the guy with a lemon.. with no recourse
I've found lately that Amazon or similar.. has the watches for literally a few dollars more.. and a 2 year warranty.. ...... the Warranty is worth spending a few dollars more.. , to me
