RayFJust for you Ray, Geckota have added a small number of C-05 VK64 prototype ( forerunner to your C-01) chronograph 40 mm watches to their sale, with "Geckota" discount code they work out at $190 usd. The cheapest I could find them at six months age was $300 usd . plus. Surely a collectors piece, green or black dial.

Hmm...not exactly my cup of gears and springs. Good price and all but I’ve never been a fan of the small seconds complication.
Speaking of gears and springs, have you seen Steinhart’s new Red/Black bezel GMT diver? Pretty striking! A bit much for me, but for the more adventurous among us, could be just the ticket.
RayFI was pretty sure about buying the Premium 500 GMT titanium, had even tried and failed twice with Steinhart for any discount, although they did drop the 15% gst. euro charge on two quotes. So it was either that or the Vintage GMT with non-colored bezel and 60's style dial. Both came in at reasonable cost. But believe it or not, after lots of research on the Gevril "Wall Street Submariner", which on special at JS came in just a little more on the dollars I went for the Gevril. It just seems a better built watch, and I do like the color of the dial: I will probably still get a Steinhart this year, one of the two I have looked at closely or maybe even this "Coke" style GMT!! But there is something too "Colorful"!!, about the two tone bezel, which for me is why I keep going back to that Vintage style, kinda like a lot of the "Skin" diver bezel and dials, that are about. Longines have a couple of homage's to this style as well as some others.
RayFYes, even though I really like the "Soda" Glycine Sub combat, not just the price , but I am not too sure about the color scheme. Just found a U.S. Canada shipping only site, prices were cheaper than JS, really wanted a cute little Vostok Europe, but won't ship to Oz!! "Touch of Modern', yes i know it doesn't really describe you or I but you might just find a deal!! Good luck.
