About this Seiko 5 Sport SNZG Watch: I gave up buying Mechanical Chronological Quartz watches years ago when solar powered watches became available, they require some type of movement to maintain the 'power' coiled spring or other movement that requires jewels for a smooth operation. Do you know why jewels were used in old watches to begin with? There ‘bearings’ that have the lowest coefficient of friction and nothing else was small enough to do the job. Why would anyone in today's high tech world gravitate back to the days where each watch came with a key to wind? I know I'm exaggerating a tad, but you get the idea, Mechanical Chronological Quartz operated watches with 100 or more jewels are cheap copies of quality watches. Those who do by these types of 2 stroke 4 banger watches may not think anything about this, but when its date night, or getting ready to go to that football game you and your wife/girlfriend have been excited about AND.... your cheap but good looking watch stops you'll remember that 'if I had only paid $35+ dollars more my watch would still be ticking'... and ticking... and never mind you get the idea
