You have got to be kidding me? The mail process started on Jan 3. The watch left Utah on Jan 4. It has just left San Francisco on Jan 19. 15 days from Utah to San Francisco? What are USPS using? Geriatric carrier pigeons? At least by the time it reaches Australia (which contrary to popular belief is not on a different planet) the watch should be a genuine collectible antique!
Got mine today! It's perfect!
Yes, must be shipped yesterday ! I hope there is no problem.

Just saw that USPS received them yesterday in Utah.

Got mine today
Supposed to have shipped yesterday. I've never done a drop before. What is the normal shipping time like?
What are the chances we will get another drop for this watch?
Missed this drop entirely. What was the final price?

Wow. Really great price. Easy to see why they went so quickly, a shame more were not available.
Thanks for letting me know.
We know that MD has no control on the volume, but they decide to drop or not. Offering 60 units ( even 15 considering that the "skydiving" is the most sought after ) when you have almost 5000 requests is basically only generating frustration. I'm happy for the lucky ones, but I really wish that MD is planning a massive Presage drop or that this mini drop will appear on a regular basis. +1 for the Presage Cocktail SSA with power reserve.
Glad I jumped on the blue instead of second guessing
For a second I thought I missed a drop for the new Cocktail Time Power Reserve w/ small seconds. Please drop the SSA345J1!
For those of us lucky enough to get our hands on some version of the watch, anyone know if they're going to move up the ship date since the drop finished so fast? They did that for the Victorniox Alpnach drop after it sold out in a few hours, and I received mine over 2 weeks before the expected ship date. Wondering if that will be the case this time too.
For everyone who wasn't lucky enough... is blame whatever vendor ran this drop instead of massdrop. The vendors set a limit on each piece. Massdrop can't magically conjure up more watches or force the vendor to sell more. It sucks and it's unfair I agree, but the blame is being misdirected.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr
You do realize it's the VENDOR that decide how many items Massdrop gets for a discounted price, right?
Was it a test drop and should we prepare for a huge Seiko Presage drop? Or are you trying to make all those who requested these watches angry?
One minute it's there, next minute it's gone. No time to ponder...

Yeah. I wanted one of these as well
Look at my username. Now understand why I'm so disappointed!
No time to decide, please try to release again!
Seriously, WTF.
This is a great price and having not been sold out and I just purchased a new Glycine I might be tempted to go for the brown dial model myself, but fortunately it's gone. Honestly I thought this watch was long gone after the original sold out years ago. That said I don't know how I feel about the 4R35, I really don't think it is much of an improvement to the 7S26 (which, don't get me wrong, is an excellent movement at its price point). My old Japanese model Cocktail Time has the excellent 6R15, which is on par with my Hamilton and Glycine Swiss ETA movements WRT (but not as good as the better caliber/grade ETA in my Longines) accuracy. My luck with the 4R movements hasn't been as charming...that said, at this price point I don't believe one has a right to complain a great deal (I believe my original JDM cost me about $325, which would more than account for the slightly more costly movement). On an aesthetics note: why on earth did they remove the script "automatic" in favor for the dull font and add the "Presage" branding? That really cheapens the look of an otherwise excellent dial IMO.
At any rate maybe I can snag one of the brown ones next time around. It'll be a nice departure as all of my other dress watches, save for two (a solitary blue and black) have a silver/white dial.
Shame they have gone already, always liked the cocktail time!
I saw it for $240ish (I'm sure someone can correct me, but I remember thinking if it was less than $200 I was a definite yes, and it wasn't)? Checked quickly, did some errands and it was gone.
What was the drop price please
fantasist
249 for the light blue
Please, add models with power reserve (SSA343J1) next time. Thanks in advance.
Hope more are made available the color I want is sold out.
The only constant on this site is disappointment.
I understand the laws of supply and demand, and I get it, but.... having 60 TOTAL units for sale when you had over 4800 total poll votes originally, (Not to mention the attention the Cocktail Time gets in the community), the torches and pitchforks coming out is an undeniable response.... pity.
A BIG big "Congrats" to those that grabbed one of these though (make sure to show em off!)
Wow, received email, clicked, 3 out of 4 sold out. Not cool.
what a relief they are gone! i love how this looks but just can’t live with mineral crystal. my first seiko is so beat up that it makes me sad to look at.

also the shiny patent leather band seems gaudy. of course i want one, or the chrono version. just relieved that today is not the day. thanks md for saving me from impulsive spending... again.
delnerdo
sorry not chrono but more complicated, with reserve indicator and rotary date, i.e. SSA343J1 SSA346J1

dude, pick up some Polywatch mineral crystal polish. it won't get all of that out, bit it will improve things considerably.
Great Massdrop! Got the blue one.
