This is NOT!!! the 0x.
Looking at the 03 on Amazon. The 0x line is the OLD!!! line. The text near 6 is the script Automatic. Seiko realigned their product lines this year. The pictures on display here show Presage above automatic...in smaller block caps, not script. This is the post Baselworld branding.
Honestly? In this case, don't blame Massdrop for the confusion. Seiko's causing this one, IMO.

CraigLewisYeah I noticed that. For some models (the solar divers), I believe the only change was the addition of the Prospex logo to the watch face, nothing else changed. I wonder if that's the case here.

SlimceaProbably not. For example the Cocktail Time used to have a 6R, and it was dropped down to a 4R. People are also saying there are some size differences from the 0x models, and possibly sapphire downgraded to hardlex..

CraigLewisHonest question: other than the lettering on the dial, what exactly is the difference between the 0x and the 6x line? Or is it only the lettering on the dial that is different? You're not kidding when you say that Seiko makes the model numbering confusing, lol.

JTrubsNot sure there is any. I see the 03 listing says 18mm lugs, but that's wildly unusual on a 41+ mm case. Plus, both are listed as 41+ cases, and looking at pics, the lugs align to the same point in the dials...saying they're the same width. The 18's from Amazon and they've been known to screw up details.
seikoboutique.hu lists the 63, and shows it with a sapphire crystal. Not hardlex. passthewatch.com also has the 63, and the bottom of the description also indicates sapphire.

JTrubsLemme also say that there may well not be any difference. The point about classifying by lines more, may just be that they've been nothing but alphabet soup with *so* many of their models. But of course, if the lines are gonna be meaningful, they have to exhibit consistency within them.

CraigLewisMuch obliged for your responses, thank you for the info. In regards to the possibility that there aren't any differences between the 0x and 6x series (dial aside), that wouldn't surprise me at all. With my limited knowledge of Seiko's products, I do know that they have a history of slightly altering the cosmetics of certain watches for different markets and leaving all other components mostly the same. Perhaps Massdrop will step in at some point and address the questions and confusion in these threads? Cheers!
