I love Seiko divers, & own at least 9 of them. I have been on the fence getting one of the SUN series so a good friend who recently bought a used SUN from WUS classifieds lent me his, so I could find out if it was something I could live with (SUN23)
My Wrist is fairly large (7.5"-7.75") and although this is a large wrist watch, it looked fine for it's size but there is something about quartz type watches i just don't care for and after wearing it for several weeks, that was enough of a long term test to tell me the SUN series watches, as nice as they are, they aren't for me

I already have the SUN023, do I need another? :) The one thing I love most about the SUN023 is the extremely long power reserve. (6 months!?) I've only set the time once since I got it. Amazing!

In Europe, the sun065P1 cost around $630 but with warranty... The lack of warranty is a problem...

The fact that MD does not include a warranty of some sort--their own or the manufacturer's-- for new watches is really peculiar and frankly, a real deal breaker. It makes no marketing sense when virtually all reputable watch dealers offer a warranty.

cgalnyI recently was in another drop, received a dead on arrival item. Contacted support, they said too bad, no warranty, send item back, we will refund your money. In other words, yeah MD is good just for the exact price you paid, too bad about the hassle. Fortunately, the item was the Nightcore flash light recently dropped, if it had been a watch I would have gone crazy. I don't trust MD anymore.

I am not so sure about this drop..creation watches has the same one for 364 bucks, ships worldwide, usually has 2 day shipping in US, and has Seiko's 1 year warranty...

Got my watch, rubber strap was more comfortable than expected. I had already ordered the dark blue and grey striped NATO strap from outfit in Singapore, the review of this watch on "worn and wound" had that nato strap on it. This is the strap that should have come with it, fantastic match.
