Received my watch today - I have a few issues: Why was it thrown in the box without the PROSPEX booklet, and no warranty card and covered with grime and fingerprints?
You know... just curious...

bugeyedShipped to DHL on 18 November - they tried to deliver it on Saturday - had to retry today - My office is closed on Sat... Re-delivery was today's mail.
I do not at all care for DHL/USPS Combo. Slow and their scanning isn't really up to speed. .
Regardless, I am feeling not so good about this purchase now - even the manual that came with the watch is WRONG.

AGUNGUYWhere are you located. I got confirmation on the 25th but it has not progressed beyond being en route to DHL eCommerce distribution center". If it doesn't clean up like new, I would seriously think about returning it. It is sold as new, with MD warranty, so, even at the nice price, it should be new.

bugeyedI am in Maryland. Received the watch yesterday.
Something Sketchy going on with this whole deal if you ask me. The watch is genuine, but the packaging aint, the manuals are wrong, the box is wrong.

AGUNGUYIt will be interesting to hear of the experience of others. We may never know where these gray market watches were sourced or how the source gathered them to fill the order. This watch is available as gray market for around $300, so the $170 price may be an indication that we may be getting watches that were gathered from any number of sources. Displays, old stock, returns etc. Just speculating based on your experience & hoping it is an isolated case. If the watch is fine & battery charges quickly & holds a charge, consider your very low $170 price when making any decisions. Good luck!

AGUNGUYMine looks perfect. Fully wrapped and in a Seiko box. Looks brand spanking new to me. Not sure about a manual becasue my wife grabbed it from me (Xmas present).

AstropinThe manual was the wrong one so I downloaded the correct one. The watch looked brand new and is working perfectly.
