The sporty Seiko Prospex World Time get its power from the sun and its looks from the stainless polished case and deep blue (or black) coloring. Loaded with functions—like a world timer, 24-hour indicator, chronograph, split-time measurement, and a date window—it’s fit for any adventure Read More
Perhaps they can make a special Edition Seiko Monster only for Massdrop (are Massdrop big enough for that ?) Seiko is huge but you never know (perhaps a dream for most places like this)
arman-hToo bad Jomashop sucks. I can handle Amazon. i can handle shoping Japanese sites. What I cannot handle is Jomashop's lies and delays where they hold my money for three months only to refund it. That is the single worst watch website in the history of mankind. Oh yeah, and there was the time they sent me a size 46 belt that literally said "Size 36" on the belt as well as the tag. Avoid that website like the plague.
does anyone know how this watch copes with the time changes due to daylight savings in some countries, where over the course of a year the time difference from GMT can be from 11-13 hours?
For the price, this watch falls very short in two critical areas, in my opinion.. First, there is no atomic clock sync. Second, while called a world timer, Seiko does not support all global time zones. For those that are not aware, there are a few time zones that are a half hour different, not a full hour, most notably in India and Australia. I have a Citizen Skyhawk AT Blue Angels that can be had at this same price level at Jomashop that supports both of those features. Here is an even cheaper option. https://www.jomashop.com/citizen-watch-at8113-04h.html
PetrosDJust got that exact watch from Jomashop (Citizen Skyhawk AT Blue Angels) for $319.99 shipped, took less than a week. I get that the Seiko is a quality watch, but I love this Skyhawk.
