Just purchased.
Question: Will this metal bracelet fit the Sarb017?
Thanks all...

TumbledryYes it will fit last gen Seiko Alpinist and other SARBs with 20mm lug size. The Seiko's solid ends bracelet is the same across SARB 38mm case line. Though Alpinist looks better to me with soft leather NATO straps it's also look good with metal bracelet. It looks great with almost anything, just an incredible watch IMO.
The absolutely best SARB series bracelet watch - SARB045 now unfortunately discontinued by Seiko, probably because of the difficult CNC case machining pattern.

TumbledryMight go to Watchuseek and research a metal bracelet for the Seiko SARB017-there's a couple options, but I don't think any single one is a 100% perfect fit. If I recall correctly Seiko makes one for another Seiko watch that's a pretty good fit. One thing about these Japanese market only watches is that as the Japanese themselves tend to be a bit smaller in size, their home market products often have shorter bands, bracelets than USA market Seikos. Most people with a wrist of 7.5 inches--even a bit bigger, are OK with the Seiko SARB017--"Alpinist' watchband size, but choose to swap them out. Like many watch companies, the bands, bracelets while good, tend to not be quite up to the fit and finish of the watch itself. Have you seen the Alpinist on a brown 'Mock Croc' or alligator watch band? Looks great.

TumbledryThe bracelet that comes with the SARB033 is pretty darn nice. I swapped mine out for a black gator imprint Hirsch leather strap, though, I think the black provides a nice contrast with the case and matches the dial; IMO, makes for a more balanced look. Photo by yours truly.

TumbledryI just tried to fit the SARB033 bracelet onto the SARB017 and it didn't fit. The end link didn't mesh into the lugs and it created a gap. The spring bar couldn't reach the lug holes because of this gap. There's an official SARB017 bracelet that you can purchase through a trusted seller like Seiya.

stephen.scharfLooks good, it would make a better impression if the background wasn't also black. Which model strap did you get?
