It's a Seiko
I mean it's known value. I purchased the Urchin so I can change up my watch mod repertoire. It wears a bit thinner than an SKX and has a classic diver layout, so what's not to love?

First purchase I've made on drop. This watch has been phenomenal and I've had it for well over a year now. Solid build and sits comfortably on my thin wrists. My biggest issue is timekeeping. Despite wearing it continuously, it'll tend to lose its charge and has a tendency to lose seconds. It's an inconvenience I am able to overlook that given the look, feel, price, and build. I haven't swapped bezels yet but definitely looks good on a nato as well. Would I buy another one? Absolutely.

Good for the price but not a good timekeeper
The watch looks like a high end watch. If you take good care of it and prevent any scratching it'll stay looking fine for a long time. Bu unfortunately it gets behind several seconds everyday which add up over the course of a week or months. Annoying when I have to regularly match the time with my cell. Also, it has to be on your wrist continuously. "Charge" lasts less than a day, maybe slightly more than 24 hrs on a good day.

One of my all time favorite watches
i've bought this watch in 2016 and it still keeps time accurately!
I just bought some bezel ring inserts from dlw watches and i am going to mod it with that. i think that the original bezel ring does show a little wear after a couple of years of use and i think that a ceramic bezel would have been better.

Purchasing Process Easy, Watch Needs Repair
Purchasing the watch through Drop was fairly easy, no issues there.
This was a gift for my dad and the time will be almost an hour behind every day while being worn. The local watchmaker said this is not the first he has seen and it needs to be sent back to Seiko. Disappointing for a brand new watch to need to be send back and hopefully fixed already.

I have been looking at this watch for a while. I appreciate that it is a dead ringer for a Rolex Submariner from a polite distance. The option to purchase as a Drop proved irresistible. I was not disappointed. This is a very handsome watch. I was worried about the size on my wrist as my other watches are typically 37mm - 38mm. This watch looks and feels great even though it is 42mm.
