Titanium & DiaShield: A Classic Diver

Designed with many of the same elements of Seiko’s other dive watches—most notably the coveted SBDX001—the Shogun features a black dial with large LumiBrite hands and markers, an oversize bezel, and a screw-down crown. But the SBDC007 comes with two noteworthy features: titanium and DiaShield coating. Both the case and bracelet are made of this superior metal, which is at once lighter and stronger than steel. And thanks to the DiaShield coating, the titanium takes on the look of steel while ensuring its resistance to scratches.

Note: Since this is a Japanese domestic market model, the manufacturer warranty is only valid in Japan. This watch is covered under a Massdrop 2-year warranty. These watches will be shipped from the US. This drop is limited to 15 watches.

Seiko 6R15 Movement, Dual-Curved Hardlex

The SBDC007 is equipped with Seiko 6R15 automatic 23-jewel movement, beating at 21,600 beats per hour. It also features a 50-hour power reserve, ensuring its accuracy for more than two days untouched. To improve its submarine functionality, it’s fitted with a dual-curved Hardlex crystal as well as a screw-down crown and caseback. The result: 200 meters of water resistance. Of course, the Shogun’s lightweight wearability makes it suitable for professional divers and desk divers alike.
