While I do approve of Massdrop making some excellent watches available on their website, there are sometimes better deals to be had elsewhere within this price bracket. Thanks to another post below I just purchased the SNZH55J1 off Creation Watches for $117:

They also have one of the other styles available (the SNZH57J1), but the SNZH53J1 was sold out. The same watch here would've cost me $166.23 ($155 + CA sales tax). Not to mention the dreaded wait and no return policy. Keep your eyes peeled, people!

It's my first time purchasing from Creation Watches and they shipped out my order just 40 minutes after I made it. I was a bit surprised, actually. Though I will say, yeah -- the grey market is sort of a hit or miss thing with people who have already had one or two bad experiences. I've read nightmare stories about people buying other watches or getting their watch serviced from places like Jomashop and running into problems down the line... Hopefully it won't happen to me, but sucks you had to experience that :( EDIT: Watch arrived 3 days ago, it runs like a dream -- a little quick at +2 or so a day, but can't complain.

Fairingreydude EVERYTHING on MD can be found at significantly lower prices, and you get them in 2 days, not two months. how they remain in business is one of the great questions in life

TayTayBallsI mostly agree, but I would argue that just about the only things truly worth purchasing off Massdrop are the things that are 'Massdrop Made' in collaboration with other manufacturers and in stock at their warehouse. Stuff like the HD6XX and Elex headphones just absolutely decimate other competitors in its price range, and the THX AAA 789 SS amp basically makes every other amp in or above its' price range look 'meh' by comparison. Those are probably their moneymakers.
