I received mine today. My first SEIKO watch ever, and I have to say the pictures here don't do it justice because it looks so much better once you hold it in your own hands.
There's just something about this watch that makes it immediately stand out when you catch a glimpse of someone wearing it. Maybe it's the slightly domed hardlex crystal combined with the polished case and bezel, or just the 'flieger'-like design of the dial... but it's quite the looker.
And then there are also all these nice little details you start noticing when you wear/use the watch for the first time - like for example the soft yet tactile feel on both pushers, the strong lume, the very handy 'solar' battery charging function, or simply that smooth motion of the chrono second hand which I haven't seen on other quartz operated watches. Imho it's well worth that 129.99$ price tag.
