I got the rose gold one the last time. I like it fine. But here are some things to think about:
- The rose gold hands blend into the face and each other such that you need to take a glance and a half to see the time. The chronometer hand is so thin that I can barely see it.
- There's so much stuff on the dial that some hands block other hands. For instance, "What's the day of the week? Probably Friday, since the hour hand is in front of the place between Thursday and Saturday, and I can't see the day-of-the-week hand anywhere else. Yeah, there it is if I look a the watch face obliquely. Friday it is!" Or, "How many minutes has the timer gone? Dunno, let's wait 10 minutes until the minute hand rotates out of the way so we can see where the chronograph minutes hand is. Let's use another timer so we'll have a number to subtract from whatever the result turns out to be."
- The seconds at 9 are so small that I need a magnifier to set them.
- The chonograph seconds are at 6 and are so small that you need a magnifier to see them, so I don't time anything that will take more than a minute.
- The whole perpetual thing is kind of silly, since the date of the month is in microtype opposite the back end of the chronograph hand. Really tiny. I have to squint.
- The tachymeter ... did I mention tiny type? This is half-sized tiny. And you have to align it with the hard-to-see chronograph hand.
- Because of all the stuff going on on this watch, it's easy to screw something up when trying to set something. The best thing is to get it set up right and not change anything or use any features until the battery runs out. None of the features are that practical to use anyway as implemented.
Edit: I'm getting endorsemenhts for this post, so I thought I'd edit it to say that I never wear this watch anymore. The illegibility and difficulty of setting it, plus that it's quartz, has caused it to lose its appeal to me.

CloacaWhat are the months there for? It doesn’t appear to have any way to actually indicate the current month.
