Whether in watches, signs, or advertisements, contrasting colors make for excellent legibility. The Seiko SRPC5X employs a combination of orange, black, and white for a look that’s easy to read with just a quick glance. The markers are thick and trapezoidal, giving the watch a distinct diver aesthetic, especially when you factor in the unidirectional rotating bezel. Wide triangle-shaped hands add a masculine quality to the overall look, without being over the top. Inside the stainless steel case is a 24-jewel automatic movement known as a Seiko 4R36. To keep it intact under stress, the watch champions a 100-meter water resistance rating.
