Now I regret getting these too soon. For the price I paid, I can get the 9-piece set which is much better than the 6-piece. I'd like to join but what do I do with the 6-piece I already have?

mvalviarI'd say that's debatable and depends on your needs. The 6-piece set is slimmer and includes the toenail clipper. The 9-piece kit instead includes three tools for cuticle care and one for nail cleaning which the file already can be used for (but of course the dedicated tool is presumably better).
I got the 9-piece kit before and it's great but I do miss that toenail clipper. The cuticle tools are difficult to use correctly without causing bleeding and doing more harm than good, and there's of course always a risk of infections with wounds. I chose the 9-piece kit mainly due to my impulse control disorder that makes me compulsively remove my cuticles so I thought it'd be better if I learnt to do it the right way with proper tools, which is probably true but will take some practice.
I imagine most men will care more about toenails than cuticles?

dag.odenhallActually it's my SO who is bit disappointed that the 6-piece set doesn't come with the cuticle tools. I told her about this drop and the 9-piece set. Now she's pushing me to get the 9-piece set. She does my nails and toenails :).

mvalviarYou could get the missing instruments separately:
http://www.sekiedge.com/Cuticle-Nippers-Cuticle-Pushers
Adds up to $54 if you want all four, and that's without a leather case since they won't fit inside your 6-piece case. Could add this:
http://www.sekiedge.com/Grooming-Kit-Case
And now it's $74 so you save $3 and arguably get a better case (room for more stuff like cuticle oils or other seki tools, but still slimmer than carrying both the 6-piece and 9-piece kits), but the case won't be custom-tailored for your tools and you don't get the extras/backups you would if you get the 9-piece kit. Nice having a dedicated cuticle kit, though; kinda wish I'd gotten the 6-piece set myself so I could do this, hah.
Silly there's no 10-piece kit. :-(

mvalviarUh, actually the 9-piece kit is $9 more so you save $12 with my suggestion above. But it also seems sekiedge.com only ships to US and Canada so you might have to look elsewhere, such as Amazon, where it may end up cheaper or more expensive; I don't know.
