I have this set and am very pleased. I like the sharpness of the clippers. The design makes them easier to use than some others that I've used in the past. They have a very nice weight to them. I also like the nose hair clipper. I've bought extras to give as gifts. (And I was always one to think "oh crap. I just got another manicure set!). But I am very pleased with this set and am glad I can share it with my friends.
KenhsvI second his post. I joined the last drop and am also pleased with the set. There's also something to be said for the leather case. It is solid and presents the set in a nice manner.
octavecatI would have joined if I hadn't already joined the 2 piece set that dropped a while ago. I'm a little bit sad that for about 20 bucks more I could have gotten this one instead.
octavecatWait.
Did you get the set when Seki was outsourcing those tools?
Because it's now inshop.
I'm curious because I was thinking about getting this now that they actually make it.
octavecatI'm not sure how Rubis stand up in quality, because I have never used them, but there is really something to be said for real Swiss tweezers. I bought a few Swiss stainless steel (inox) lab tweezers from Dumont and I just cannot believe that anything so precise can possibly exist. When you have a pair of tweezers with needle-thin tips that not only perfectly meet side-to-side but also surface-to-surface and hold up through many uses, you have something for which it is worth paying more than $30.
I've had my eye on these Sekis for a while, so I hope they are the same way. Now I just have to wait for them to drop when I'm not broke.
