In case anyone was wondering:
Will these fit my head?
I have a regal sized noggin with appropriately sized ears. I will tell you that compared to the ATH-M50x, SRH440, and MDR-v600 I find the fit to be superior. Closer to an open backed can in terms of space. My ears have room in the cups without touching the sides, a common problem in other popular cans, while still maintaining a seal for isolation. They might be warm until you adjust to them because of said seal, just don't forget to listen for your cats/fiancée calling for you.
How do they sound?
The soundscape is much more balanced than similar closed cup designs. If you have an issue with stereo imaging or space, you will be pleased. I found them more comparable to beyerdynamic DT-770 than Audio-Technica ATH-m50.
How is the fit and finish?
Excellent. The case is solid, the cans are gorgeous, the microphone clicks into the mute position with no fuss and stays where you put it otherwise. If I could get a looped cable I would be in hog heaven.
How does the detachable cable work out?
It is a tension clip as opposed to a 90° bayonet clip. Hasn't fallen out yet though I really don't want to start yanking on it.
Take the anecdotal off the cuff review for what it's worth.
