So if I wear these at my desk in office can people around me be able to hear what I'm listening to?

PunnyabrataHow loud are you listening at your desk? I use open back headphones all day every day and I never get any complaints from the guy(s) I (have) share(d) a cubicle with. (None of them) I think there's a stigma that's been created falsely around open back headphones bothering everyone. It's not like you're the dude who puts a sub in his car and drives around whumping as loudly as possible. Headphones are not designed to produce extremely powerful sound waves or they would deafen you.
I have personally taken my HD6xxs off (exposing the side of the driver that's actually designed to produce sound) at volume levels that are much higher than I typically listen, set them on my desk and listened around my cubicle. The air conditioning is louder on the other side of the cubicle where my cube mate sits. That's not to mention what happens outside of my cubicle where I can't hear them at all.

HeeftyAlmost no headphone driver, especially a dynamic driver with a cage and big magnet in the middle of it, produces the same levels out the back as they do on the listening side. You'll be fine unless you want to be deaf from trying to annoy people with your leaked sound.
