martin286basically ignore msrp on magic singles because you can't put an msrp on something that cannot be purchased from the manufacturer... technically this is a pretty good deal if you actually want all the rares/mythics from the set

Also, CoolStuff now has them at $280 for 1 and $1020 for 4 while SCG is $300 for 1 and $1100 for 4. So this is turning into a better deal.
Also found one complete playset on eBay for $870 though I a bit wary on that one...

MTGMint has this priced at $259 and Star City is at $249. I did find one on eBay for $224.99, but I guess why chance it with some eBay seller when Massdrop is Da Bomb!

I see... well when it's all said and done, some eBay sellers make their money on the shipping and 'handling' charges and flat rate shipping ($20+)... and Massdrop is just more reputable and reliable than an eBay store. If CoolStuffInc. is selling complete sets for $250, you're still looking at $7-$10 shipping.

JeepsCoolStuff has free shipping for any orders over $100. Not hard to do at all for Magic cards. They also offer discounts for loyal customers. I haven't looked back.

If you look at the comments on the drop for the full playset without mythics there is a comment from someone at Massdrop about why the MSRP is what it is. If you don't feel like going over to that one all I will say is to ignore the MSRP because there really isn't an MSRP for this type of item.
Complete sets at both SCG and CoolStuffInc are at $250, so this is cheaper than either of them. Not sure about other sites since those are just the two I check though I'd be willing to guess they are $250 or more.

Also this drop is for 1x of every card in the set. The 'playset' is for 4x common/uncommon/rare so no mythic rares included. The point of this drop is to allow people to access to the mythics in the set.
