How do you change the language on this darn thing??? I have never been so frustrated in my life!!! I am ready to toss it in the trash, I am sure there will be more questions coming. The manual sucks!!

Bob3600It should ask you to choose language when first booted. Perhaps you accidently hit the first one when it first booted.
I'm visiting my sister for a few days and don't have my device with me to try and figure it out and possibly walk you through it.

RojasTKDHello Rojas, Thanks for trying to help. I finally figured it out. Now I am losing battery power. I charge it and put it away, two days later it is drained. I wrote to Massdrop but thy have not givin me any help. Nice!!

RojasTKDrojas i just bought an m1 and cant even get it to work..........any ideas? the firmware wont update on the M1, i use www.jriver as my music source and the M1 shows up there so i think my problem is getting the firmware to go into the M1. any help you could give would be awesome

staceymI'm not clear what your problem is. When you say it won't work, so you mean the device isn't working as in playing music? Not booting/ turning on? Not working through your PC as aDAC/AMP?
You mention www.jriver (not talk familiar), so I assume your connecting to your computer, yes? If so i believe you need to install the PC drivers from the Shanling site. Also in the settings there is a setting for using it as a USB DAC when connected to a PC.
Let me know if I'm understanding your issue correctly.
