It’s a very nice rain coat that I still need to test in the rain, on a bike. Fit and finish are very nice. Men’s Large.
A couple of issues, this is the first jacket I’ve ever had where the zipper pull is on the opposite side, it’s really strange to start and finish the zip on and off procedure.
Also the body core vent zips don’t lie flat. They kind of curve and press against my stomach. It doesn’t sound like a big deal but it’s an odd sensation. Hopefully they will relax as the jacket is not folded any longer.
June update: while a nice waterproof barrier I can not recommend spending this much money on a jacket with the flaws stated above. I wouldn’t have bought if I had tried it on first. The downside of internet/Massdrop shopping.
mx2oberfieldAre zipper pulls on the opposite side a sign of a knock-off? Why would a Portland, Oregon company create jackets with zipper pulls on the wrong side? Aren't pulls on that side common in Europe or Asia?
MotorradMaybe you’re right, I should give this lifelong hobby up. I’ll stick to using my H1 for my commute.
But seriously, it’s more the body core vents that don’t lie flat that bother me. I can’t help but think, while not knock-offs, these might be factory seconds. Disappointed, and can’t recommend nor will I buy another Showers Pass product.
