Work exactly like they should. I have used them a few times when I know I will probably end up in the water with my feet and they work like a charm. No sweating issues either!

Tighter than compression socks.
I have issues with my feet and need room for my toes to spread out, although even socks that are tight are usually not an issue if they're stretchy. These socks are so tight they are immediately painful for me to walk in. I wanted to love them. I was hoping to use these for winter trail runs. I will probably try to sell them to someone who doesn't have feet problems. (If anyone here likes compression socks & wants to try a pair of M/L in the neon yellow color, let me know!)

I wore them a few days on a canoe trip and they seemed to keep my feet dry. But when washing them after the trip I noticed one of the socks did not hold water - it leaked. The socks are comfortable and warm. I will keep using them on river trips.

They're waterproof. They're quite thick, not really lightweight. Hard to get it. Not very comfortable when put on bare feet. Warm. Work best in cold weather.

Didn't really like these much. I didn't really test the waterproof aspect of these, but wore a pair around for a day with some bike riding and light walking. It felt that using these on a hike were going to produce blisters quickly. It may be different for others, but the material just didn't feel very good to me. They were also quite difficult to get on, and even harder to get off though they were the right size and fit. I probably won't use them at all. P.S. I like the post below by davidbrown3666 that suggests wearing them with sandals and that may be a viable use for me.

Quite good, I would say. Keeps my feet not only dry but more importantly warm, when I stand or walk in water. I used to walk the Narrow in Zion, a very good buy.

They work but they are tight. Calf is too constrictive. Getting them on is almost (well a reach but similar) to putting on cowboy boots. Once they are on they are ok but much thicker than expected. Like wearing 2 pairs of socks. They are also noisy when putting them on. The internal membrane crackles a bit. No noise once they are put on. I will use these for a trip to the Boundary Waters in the early spring and I bet I will be very happy to have them... but I am glad I didn't buy multiple sets.

Yes they are waterproof, I wear them to the beach in the Winter with sandals. Of course the water is cold so your feet get cold but they absolutely stay dry.

My first pair of waterproof socks, and they saved me from a bad time. Slogging through cold mud on a trail by a lake got my feet numb and wet in minutes; I remembered the socks, went back to the cabin and put these on. My trail runners got soaked through and were still shy of dry the next morning, but my feet stayed dry and warm enough to enjoy the day. Just bought another pair as a gift.

I'm not very happy with my pair of Showers Pass Socks. They are the least flexible socks I've owned, and I've owned other water proof socks, including Sealskinz. These socks have absolutely no give. I have a very wide foot, and these socks don't have the slightest give to accommodate my foot. Putting these socks on is like forcing my foot into a code. I'd urge caution in buying this product.
