I really like the idea of a waterproof backpack, but even the Utility looks very large for my uses. Do these collapse down a good bit when not full of stuff?

senselessI'm only going off of my handling of similar material, but I would venture to guess no. If the bag came without the waterproofing, then I would say yes, but with it, it turns the material into almost a hard shell. That isn't to say that its not flexible mind you, but rather that its stiffer and tends to retain its shape

senselessHaving bought the Utility, it is smaller than it looked in the promo video for it on YouTube. It's about the same size as the backpack I used before it, when both are not full. When full, it doesn't hold as much as the old one could, but I rarely need to use it that way.

HexCowboyThe Utility is 3.4 lbs, and the weight is worth it to me, with the weather I too often have to deal with.
