These are indeed a very good purchase for the money. The sound is not very neutral however, but the mids are quite excellent and the overall presentation is quite warm and bassy while still retaining a good amount of detail. I wrote a review on them recently: http://www.head-fi.org/products/shozy-zero-iem/reviews/16061

aornicHi, mine are not bassy. This review also calls them organic, smooth and accurate: http://headpie.blogspot.ae/2016/04/shozy-zero-iems-review-expatinjapan.html However, some reviewers found them bassy and I remember one with two samples who had quite a different sound (found it, see below). My sample is definitively not bassy and fairly neutral. I compared them with Sony XB90EX, JVC HA-FX850, ASG 2.5, Aurisonics Harmony, LZ-A3, Noble K10U. But taking a look here: https://everydaylisteningblog.wordpress.com/2016/05/18/shozy-zero-burn-in-results-a-subjective-experiment/
It seems there can be variations - I have read a few reviews from reviewers on head-fi I trust and if they say it's bassy, it surely is, just my copy doesn't seem to be. Don't get me wrong it has really good and refined bass, but not bloated or too exaggerated. In both cases they seem to be punching above their price - I am in now for a second pair, let's see what I get.

koolpepAh. I have 250h on mine and didn't write the review until 200h in, as per the request of Shozy's representative. These are definitely quite bassy but not basshead level.

aornicOk. Listening to them right now again. I think the definition of bassy is an issue. They have nice bass. Not basshead level. But very nice extended bass. I am still taken aback of how organic and natural these guys sound. $50 very well spend.

koolpepI got these for review also. I still haven't written the review. I will eventually. I think that these are warm, with the characteristic upper bass emphasis that comes with that warmth. If you play them out of an analytical source (GO 1000 for me), they don't sound bassy. If you play them on something like the DX50 (upper bass/lower mids emphasis) they will sound bassy. I've got about 200 hours on these, but started doing serious listening at about 150. I've found them to get a little more refined past 150, but not more bassy.
These are really good headphones for the money. I don't think they punch like you added a zero to the price (which is why they have the name Zero, apparently), but they do punch like $150 to $200 headphones, which isn't too shabby at all.
