If anybody is using Viper4Android, I can give you some guidance on using it with the SE215.

sirkuttinHey, this might be really late for you, but what was that tip for using these with Viper? I have the SPE edition so it may sound slightly different.

sirkuttinThanks for the reply! Is it a huge improvement over the default Shure olive tips they provide? I already think they seem pretty good for isolation and comfort in my ears.

Erak606I'll work on getting you my settings for viper4andriod. Sorry it will take me longer since I sadly don't have a phone with V4A anymore.

sirkuttinYeah, no worries, take your time! I'm still trying to figure out how to EQ to what I like for different IEMs.

Erak606I wouldn't mess with eq at all.
I would add this IRS file. I am linking below to two versions.
When you are playing music, look at the driver status of V4A. If it says 48000 you will use the first file. If it says 44100, you will use the the second file.

You will need to put this file in a specific location on your phone. <storage>/ViPER4Android/Kernel/
Put the IRS file in that folder. You may need to create that folder.
Then in V4A that fill will be available under the convolver area. Select the IRS file as the impulse response.
This is a good bassline to start from. I use that and then just add a little dynamic bass and call it good.

sirkuttinThanks for the tip! Do you think I could get your exact Viper profile? I'm getting a very muddy sound.

Erak606I don't really have one since i can't get a phone to work with V4A anymore. I am doing this off of memory from months ago.
turn off everything. turn on the Marvin IRS convolver. turn on the dynamic system. choose one of the options labeled high end (which ever sounds best to you) then set the dial to around 25%. tweak that percent to your liking, turn on viper clarity (or not) and tweak to your liking.
