Have owned the SE530 for years now- liquid gold. Only shame is that the cables wear out extremely quickly and start crackling. I got it for $350 off eBay from a different country so had no warranty, and re-cabling is ~$150.
With the removable cables, the SE535 is perfect.

You can also get estimate for cable replacement for your 530. Don't think shure will charge $150 for it.
Few years back, my dog chewed left earbud off and I was devastated, sent in for warranty repair, boom they sent me a new no questions asked.
