Thienyou wont feel much difference if you are beginner, just use it with your iphone for 3 months.

TinyzI am partial to Ray Samuels Audio. I use the SR-71B however he has a newer model which has interested me called the F-35 Lightening which is less expensive however would work very nicely with these Shure's. This last model also assumes you're going to upgrade the stock cable with a "balanced" one. These are available after market thru several audio companies.
