there always will be another price drop. if not now, then in few months. I can wait until it drops to 700-750

gamanah, that's not really how supply-restricted products like this work. Case in point: the SE535 has hovered between 460 and 500 for as long as it's been out. Sure, there was the earlier drop, but there's no certainty that that would be a consistent occurrence, and so the price stays the same and people accept that they missed a window for a good deal. It's once price drops like that start recurring that people learn to wait.
Just look at Louis Vuitton bags. How often are they ever on sale?

bryantas an avid SlickDealer, I can guarantee that there will be a deal, if not on MD, then on BuyDig, if not there then on eBay. I bought SL4 for 80 during Black Friday sale in 2008 for 80 when it retailed for 200. it is all about patience. trust me.
Edit: quick research, SE535 dropped to $384 + s/h at www.electronics-expo.com once and then at www.6ave.com it dropped to $350 on another occasion (with code AFLHEAD30). And later Earphone Solutions had a 30% off sale and Shure Se535 were $350 (with code THANKS2012). SDers buy cheap, other pay MSRP.
All one needs is patience. I am on MD only because other better cheaper offer mean "used" for now. However, it is still a new model in June but will no longer be that new in December. If it doesn't drop further here, it will not be a problem. I will wait for another opportunity and will buy it cheaper anyways, if not now then during BF sale. I have patience. Good things come to those who wait. However, you should buy it now.

gamaPaying more to get something you like early is normal though. Everyone has to decide what price they are willing to buy at. People like you are willing to wait even if it means you might not get that product for months or years. And while you wait we'll be enjoying the products which makes it worth the price for us because we value our time more. And I'm not trying to insult you, but people who are constantly on slickdeals usually have smaller disposable income so that plays a huge factor into that waiting.

boooooooooFair enough, I am just a cheap person and honest about it. That's why I am on SD. I enjoy buying something for which others paid more, sort of motivation and competition. My income is quite disposable. I am just too cheap.
However, I do not argue that you should wait as you stated "months or years." More people should buy this time. If more people commit now, the MD team would want to profit again due to the popularity of this item and then others will be able to buy later, perhaps at a lower price. Suum cuique - to each his own. What I commented about though was the false premise of the previous commentator, who stated that there will not be any price reduction and the price will remain the same. Be as it may, where the MSRP will fluctuate around $900, other retailers will offer lower prices whether through rebates, seasonal sales or coupons.
