I joined the drop last year for a pair and waited for months on a center drop. I couldn't take it anymore and bought one directly from Ascend. I wish I could have held out, but I have been enjoying my LCR Sierra 2's for a couple of months, so I have no regrets.
I placed my center in a vertical position, so I turned the tweeter 90 degrees. Vertical placement of identical LCR speakers isthe best, if you have the space. There is a trade-off of ideal placement for the TV if you use a vertical center though. You have to make a choice (if you are not using an acoustically transparent projector screen). I ended up placing my speakers about 6 inches lower than ideal and my TV about 12 inches higher than ideal. The balance works very well. The panning of surround sound and off-center listening is excellent with a vertical center, and I have the TV angled down 5 degrees or so, which offsets the higher placement. I recommend the Sierra 2 LCR combination highly for home theater.
