The warmest down jacket from Sierra Designs, the Elite DriDown Parka uses many of the same construction elements as the company’s Mobile Mummy sleeping bag—including box-baffled construction, a secure hood, and a down-filled draft tube behind the front zipper. The 850-fill-power DriDown provides cocoon-like insulation for winter adventures in the wild or around town, while the streamlined design—a pair of insulated hand pockets and not much else—keeps the weight down to 19 ounces Read More
The loft on this coat is insane. It is by far the warmest coat I have ever worn and I feel like a marshmallow when I wear it. I feel like I have to show it off to everyone.
One extra nice thing about this... On those cold winter camping trips, my feet always get cold, no matter how fuzzy my socks. I used to use this as a pillow on those nights, but I found tucking this thing into the foot of my bag gives me the coziest sleep ever.
Purchased a Mens Poseidon, large for my husband but it is too small and I need a XL size. Not sure if sizing varies by color because I purchased my son a large Brick colored one and it fits perfect. My husband and son are the same size in clothing, and the Poseidon large is tight on my son too.
Not sure if this drop will ever return, but I have to say this is the warmest jacket I've ever worn. The 850 fill is really something. You'll be warm in subzero temps, and too warm in anything else which is much better than being too cold obviously.
I'm normally a mens size S but ordered an M to layer underneath. Now that I know how warm it is, I probably could have gone with an S as I won't be layering very often with this jacket. However, the length of the M is great for those really cold days as it's long enough to cover my butt.
Edit: I might as well add that my wife wants to sell her women's light grey S. It's brand new with tags. She has way way too many jackets and wants to sell this one because it's still brand new. U$110 plus shipping from Canada. (In case you're wondering, I did not post the above just to post this sale. This was an afterthought).
Huh, surprised to see so many people commenting on sizing. I'm 6'0" 185lb, and the large (brick red) fits perfectly. Maybe people thought they were buying a bomber jacket. It is a *parka* -- and it is an amazingly great deal! Super warm, covers my rear, hood design works great, and it is really really light. Easily turns into an actually useful pillow. I'm delighted with it (obv).
I bought a men's small (because I didn't like the women's style/color) but it doesn't fit. If anyone wants to buy it from me for even cheaper, PM me. New with tags.
I have a large, black, if someone wants to purchase. $90 shipped continental US. Still in the plastic, unopened. I purchased a medium and a large because I am consistently between sizes and the medium works great for me. This is a great parka, I'm really stoked on this drop.

5' 9" and 165 and a medium fits me perfectly, with room for several layers underneath. Not at all cavernous. I ignored the fits small warning. Very happy so far.
First of all, I got mine yesterday and love it. But I had one question. On my tag is says 800 fill down, but it's advertised as 850. Does everyone else's tag say 800?
It says so on the removable retail tag that's attached to it. I can upload a pic later. I don't necessarily care as I like the jacket, but if the specs don't match as advertised, and it has something to do with the low price, then I sort of care.
I looked at the jacket again. On the inside left side it's printed that it's 850 fp. So maybe it's just not an accurate tag on the outside. I'm not going to worry about it.
