The Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM art lens was engineered to give superior image quality and sharp photos through its new optical design and use of premium components. With a bright f/1.4 aperture, this lens is particularly suited for portrait photography, both in-studio and on-location. It’s got two low-dispersion elements, including one that boasts a high rate of anomalous partial dispersion and high refraction. The updated Hyper Sonic Motor allows for increased torque over previous generations of this lens for fast and efficient autofocus. Finally, the nine-blade rounded diaphragm creates background bokeh to isolate and accentuate the subject.
