I have these. Very smooth, musical, rich and immersive sound with life like tonality. Come close to full size open back headphones in the same price range in terms of SQ. Not worth it if only planned to be used with iPhone. this need mid/high end dedicated source to show it's potential. Recommended if the place you live is too hot for wearing full size headphones or you just like the form factor.
I agree though the build quality is kind of lame...
