Since so far the discussion is like 95% about the price, let's talk a little about the speakers themselves. They're definitely very good for the size. They also look pretty incredible, and have a nice quality feel to them. If looks, size, and bluetooth aren't factors, I'm not sure these are the best option even at ~$150.
They're well suited for Bluetooth, and a little less suited for computer use. Good for wireless because generally when on wireless, you're doing things that involve more moving around, and less sitting at one spot in front of your computer. The speakers aren't nearly as directional as others I've tried. So when you walk from 1 side of the room to the other (or sit on the floor, stand up, etc) your sound quality isn't going to take a huge hit even though he speakers are no longer facing directly at you.
For computer use, the line-in is awkwardly placed at the front right side of the speaker instead of in the back. The line If these were portable speakers, that would have made sense for use with portable devices. But as computer speaker, it makes it pretty awkward since the cable to your DAC or sound card will be wrapping around from the front to the back. Would have been nice to have an additional line-in in the back of the speaker.
There is also USB connection for computer use, however -to me- it sounds incredibly bass boosted, and it's really not clean tight bass either. Even with a sub plugged in though the subwoofer input, it still feel like the Listens themselves are still trying too hard to play bass. Maybe it's just me, but I really though it sounded pretty bad though the USB. The line-in just sounds FAR superior to me.
Overall not a bad pair of speakers for around $150 or so for line-in or bluetooth use. Definitely wouldn't buy them at the $400-$500 price they previously sold/retailed for though. Not sure exactly what I'm going to use these for, but the price compared to other sellers at the time really made me want to try them :P
Note: I've only had them for a few days (from NCIX, Massdrop let me cancel my order here), so this is really more of a first impressions. Not really much burn-in on them either, though for my experience headphones seem to benefit a lot more from burn-in than speakers anyways.

TianZiI haven't tried mine through the USB yet, but through the line in there is a slow popping sound unless the volume on the speakers stays all the way up. Waiting for the ones I ordered from here to show up before I can call them defective though. Stick your head next to the speaker when it's not playing anything and at half volume, is there any intermittent clicking noise? Mine also make a similar noise when I mute them from the remote.
I think these would be ideal for a computer desk thanks to the USB, but I agree the line in would be nice on the back instead. If it was on the back I could give them to my parents for their tv. They do sound pretty awesome, even in my front room with a lot of open space.
