Does anyone else get the "incorrect password" error? awful product.
Anyone get the app to work? I signed up on my android device, never got an account creation email, sent email to reset my password, received this email, clicked link in email to reset password, took me to a blank page, still unable to log in.
Tried this with the same results on my windows 10 desktop and Android phone.

Drop not available in GB >:
Don't quote me but my lackluster google skills showed that these should work with Echo which is the reason I was going to purchase 1 to test out. It ends in a day or so but I am holding out. These things will eventually get cheaper and I do not see the time savings/convenience of having a smart home with Alexa while I live in an apartment. Alexa is fun and interesting but if I paid more than half price, I would be disappointed in it.
Was interested but don't see the savings here. Maybe if they were offering 2 for $24.99.
Never mind
Why only 450 lumens? The multicolor is just a skin on the bulb right? Or can you change the colors?
Can these be used with the amazon echo/alexa(I have a Wifi hub)
Do these require anything else to link to the app, like a hub, or is it plug and play with the app?
Edit: Never mind, their website says no hub needed

Is there an sdk or api available for these bulbs?
zeroxoz2
Likewise, can they be used with any other smarthome systems out there, or are they restricted to compatibility with other "Simple Home" products
I would be nice if Massdrop would state the voltage of things that plug into the wall (which light bulbs do, in a fashion).
Massdrop is selling internationally, after all, and most of the world uses 220-240 v.
I presume that these are 120 v light bulbs, as they default ship to the US.

Can´t even find it after goggling a lot......
Also it's worth noting that if you are planning on buying two, Home Depot is selling a two pack for less than if you bought two from this drop.

$53 for the two at hd, or $55 for the two on Massdrop. Those are for the colourd ones. And tbh, im not sure if I want to get two right now. My thinking was just getting one and playing with it and if I want more HD has them for cheaper! Ps thank you for the link I didn't find those in my searching!

No problem on the link, totally forgot that the price dropped a bit from when I initially checked. And that's probably a solid idea. Still on the fence myself. Haven't been able to find any reviews on this, so I'm not sure if I want to take the gamble.
Right. There's a bit of confusion here. This bulb EMITS the equivalent brightness of a 40 Watt bulb, but it does not require the same amount of power to produce that light as a traditional 40 Watt bulb would. I can't find any info on power consumption of this bulb, unfortunately.
That sounds like a lot of watts, the lifx is 11W at full brightness.
it's 40 watts, according to a quick google.
What Waaaattttsssss?
What are the watt equivalent and power consumption for these bulbs?
