Hi All,
After speaking with our vendor about the load ability we have updated the weight capacity specs to 198lbs or 90kg.
Cheers,

DaveHoffWill this go on sale near the end of the time period? I'm considering getting one but price is a bit heavy.
Sam.FThis is WAY cheaper than most boards I’ve seen that weren’t made for 10-year olds. Most fullsize electric skateboards (that started this segment) are priced over $1000, shorter boards like this are usually around $400-$800. I think this is a soft-launch at “Kickstarter” like funding prices, this model isn’t shown on Skatebolt’s website (but their ”Tornado” full-size model is reviewed a few times on YouTube).

" weight capacity of 110 pounds "
So small women and teenagers. Even my 5'1" wife wouldn't be able to use this at 125lbs.

I'm 112 pounds, 5''6, will I be able to use this fine?
An interesting new drop segment.
There has been quite a growing discussion of transport for “the last mile.” Speeding up transportation between the last train/trolley/subway stop and the office, or something that can be stashed in your car so you can park somewhere cheap, or a more efficient form of transport for short trips to a market, convenience store, or friend’s house nearby. Also great on vacation, in case everyone piled into one car to reach the destination, but then each person has personal transport to explore.
I’m not sure what is defined here as a “smaller rider“ (I’m tall, but 185 lbs, probably they mean someone more like 110 lbs and short), but I would be interested in a larger-person suitable board or an electric unicycle.

EvshrugI have used a Boosted Board to get around downtown in a major city before. It's fun but they cost enough that I can't justify buying one myself. I am not sure what size person they are rated for but I am just over 250lbs and it did not seem to have any problems.
ValzaanThanks for the comment!
I saw someone on YouTube compare a Boosted Board to a $1000 used car. Frankly, I feel like a $1000 used car is going to be junk and a money pit (like every adventure demonstrated in Top Gear and Grand Tour).
I have a (pretty nice) car already, but I felt a little silly driving a 5 person car everyday on my 3-mile commute to work. My town also has several convenience stores, diners, and a mass transit system (with a crowded parking lot) within short distance. This board here is fairly affordable, I could see something in-between this mini board and the Boosted Board being very useful utility, and as you said, fun.
