Crafted in the ratchet-belt style—originally used in the Russian military—the SlideBelt doesn’t come cut with any holes, which means one size fits all. With traditional belts, every time you pull them closed the holes are put under serious strain, which can lead to cracking and discoloration in the leather Read More
I didn’t have any solid-faced buckles, and this was my first slider belt. It didn’t disappoint. The buckle has quite a bit of weight, which gives the impression of quality. The belt has a ton of adjustability. I’m extremely pleased with it.
Decent quality leather belt which is convenient but slightly less impressive in person than on the pictures. The buckle is very sturdy and one could even argue slightly too heavy.
I really like the design, until a rivet popped out.
A tiny rivet popped out after some months of use, it was so small I couldn't find it and it seems unrepairable. It's a bummer because I like the design.
Bought this belt 2 years ago and have worn it almost every day since then.
Belt is still in great shape, the slide mechanism shows zero signs of wear and still holds the belt in place.
The design of this means that if your waist size varies over time, you don't even notice, which is a definite perk!
The faux leather is ok. The edges have peeled like faux leather tends to do, but it doesn't change the look or feel and after 2 years has been pretty minor.
Overall the belt is still in great shape and I have no worries about future durability.
Very nice... except a slight "click" noise from the belt buckle.
The belt is nicely adjustable, goes well with my business wardrobe and does not flip or fold like lesser belts. Got several complements first time I wore it.
But.... one niggling issue: the belt "clicks" if touched or tapped. The release lever does not sit snuggly against the rest of the buckle, resulting in a "click: noise.
