Great for backpacking, air travel, and any pursuit that calls for compact, lightweight gear, the SLIK LITE AL-420 tripod is made of aircraft-grade aluminum and weighs just 2.2 pounds. It’s also the first tripod to incorporate a removable LED flashlight in the center column, designed to illuminate your camera bag while shooting at night. When fully retracted, the AL-420 measures less than 17 inches long, and thanks to the company’s Rapid Flip locks, the legs can invert 180 degrees for easy storage in your carry-on bag. Fully extended, it reaches more than 60 inches, with a detachable, invertible center column that separates to convert to a short column for low-angle photography.
