The RGB strips are okay, nothing special about them. The controller itself seems to do the job well, however the software with which you control the device is pretty substandard. Pairing with the controller often take 3-4 attempts from my phone. I've not yet been successful at pairing with the controllers with my phone, perhaps one of the devices is defective.
The software itself lacks some basic controls, such as individual colour adjustment. You have a colour wheel you can manipulate, but you won't get only blue/red/green control with it unless you use one of the preset buttons. This means selecting the blue part of the colour wheel results in some red/green lighting as well.
The choice in patterns is pretty standard, nothing to really brag about.
I regret my purchase and wish I had known about the flaws.

p1coI agree with you that the app is pretty substandard. If possible, i'd rather just program my own. The color pallet selector is decent and can be fun to play around with but for choosing desired colors there are better interfaces. I'd like RGB sliders too to dial in colors.
And there are things that seem to have been overlooked. Like the option to set the brightness during the programmed patterns. If you want the breathe, or color changing modes they have to happen at full brightness, which isn't what I if i'm trying to fall asleep (to their credit the lights are bright). So instead of peaceful low level breathing lights I have to turn them off.
