Interesting, is the grinder anodized, like the Santa Cruz?
The price point on the final drop seems fair: Mini Grinder - $20 + Jyar - $20 + One hitter / Lighter - $5
To have all this convenience in one the $49.99 seems spot on, nice negotiating ;-)

KloudSociety@KloudSociety Yes the grinder is anodized (w/ 19 teeth). We worked hard on the design to make it a legit grinder- it's great for when you're on the go!
Thanks for the kind words- we love Massdrop and we were customers first. Enjoy ;)

smocan_gary@smocan_gary i really like your designe and would buy it (might even pay more) on the spot if used more of a space case esque hole pattern on grinder. ..
honestly not trying to say your design doesn't work or any thing, just every grinder I've owned with that (like your's) has sucked and is quite annoying in comparison... And i have never used a grinder as small as yours more then like once or twice.... so i am being completely prejudice here, but since space case has been the A "standard" in grinders for like longer then i can remember. . . And nock offs that aren't quite up to snuff (not enough teflon in ring, dull blades, poor threading, to teeth clack/stick too much, and or etc) for pretty much about just as long. So it does give your product a bit of a "cheaper look" for some of us skeptical smokers/cooks. Just something to think about since you're literally compeating with space case (legendary for most) and the new bling bling grinders (that really do look nice though dont they)
That said, still thinking about trying your product, even though I'm very picky about my grinder and assuming I'd probably be most likely disappointed in grinder. So thumbs up!

KloudSocietyAgreed, grate price. Even if grinder is just so/so. Long as it doesn't suck lol.
Though grinder is key selling point for me, followed by air and light tight container second... Guess space case does that to you. *shrug* and it's also sentimental, so there is that too. Lol

slaithe@slaithe Thanks for your feed back- I really appreciate it. Something to keep in mind is that the intention of the Smocan is to give you all the tools you need so you can smoke when you're away from home (Camping, Snow Boarding, Concert etc.). We're certainly not attempting to replace your full time grinder you have at home. That's why the "Swiss Army Knife" comparison gets made.
So if you're looking for something portable that holds all your core tools, is water and odor resistant, then the Smocan will do the trick!
