This is better known as an "Infinity Cube", it is an older toy that has recently had a resurgence in popularity due to the fidget craze. It is 8 small cubes joined together in such a way that it can be folded over itself indefinitely. It only folds one way, but it's very satisfying, in my opinion it is better than a fidget cube or spinner. You can find plastic ones for much less.

Thanks so much for backing us up the claim. This is an older toy just like the meditation ball that have been around for a long time. We have plenty of evidences to show that there is nothing new about "Infinity Cube". But rather was re-marketed on Kickstarter so people can pay a pretty penny for it.
We just want to make products that fans can enjoy at a reasonable costs. So hopefully sensible people can understand and appreciate what we do.

SMRTGadgetI totally agree, this toy concept has been around a while. I remember playing with one as a kid (I'm 45 now). It was made out of wood and the "hinges" were thin ribbon type material.

SeanWYes, our team have done a ton of research and can suspect that mediation ball was probably the original ones. It dates back as early as Ming-Qing Dynasty which is around 14-17th century. Thanks for joining the drop, and I believe you will enjoy our nifty little desktop toy :)
