Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The replacement came, and the issue is still persistant, so I am not sure what the issue is I've tried multiple different headsets and the issue is not with the port, and I also tried it with my windows laptop and...

Firstly, it depends. How much low end do you want? I don't plan to use a sub right now. The 6 inch driver should be good enough for the room size and music I wil have. Maybe I'll get a sub eventually? But right now I don't need one.
And, you're right. This amp doesn't have a dedicated sub out. However, as long as you get the right subwoofer, they will come with passthroughs, so you can do speaker wire from amp to subwoofer in, then from subwoofer out to speakers. Otherwise, you could put two wires into the amp outputs or the subwoofer terminals, and just have them both connected that way. If you would like images to describe this, I can find some.
Long story short, you don't need a dedicated sub out to use a sub, and you might want to wait on a sub until you are sure you want one.
How are the RBHs?
I can't get over the look of the Jamos. The RBHs are nice looking, but that wood and those circles around the drivers... Smooth. I just wish I could have gotten one of the stained wooden finishes.
I know what you mean about them wanting more power. It seems like they just guzzle it up, with no problem. How did you like the low end? Think you'll get a sub?
Shit. That's a good question. For me, I would probably do a sub, since I don't plan on using the Jamo's in a big home theater right now. However, if I was planning on that, I would definitely go for a center. It would be key for linking the voices to the screen, especially for off center viewing.
