Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. And since SMSL doesn't use standard IR remote codes, I would need a learning remote to use the volume control in the SMSL (with toslink from the TV, which does work).
Another note/complaint about non-standard remote behavior is that it's not simple (maybe not possible) to use a programmable remote to change to a specific input. The included remote cycles through the inputs, which isn't helpful. I haven't tried this idea, but with a macro programmed in the remote it might work to click the center button (of the SMSL remote), then click right (or left) 7 or 8 times to be sure it's at the start or end, then click left (or right) the correct number of times to set the desired input.
