Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. The headphone jack on this is really only ok for IEMs and easy to drive headphones.
You better off just getting a decent DAC to power your JBLs. I use an NFB-11 and have it connecte3d to a Mackie Big Knob Passive ($65 to $70) is offers two inputs and two outputs that are button selectable. Input be is shared with either a dual 6.35mm TS inputs or a single 3.5mm input. I pluged my Mpow BT receiver into the 3.5mm input to test just now and it worked great. just an option for you.
