Keep in mind compatibility issues on android phones. Unlike the iPhone which will route all audio to a lightning connected DAP, Android phone often only do that with the native music player app, or a few select 3rd party apps, like the onkyo player. Any streaming app like SoundCloud, Tidal, Spotify, Pandora, etc... just forget about it.

dizzidActually, it depends on the dac. If it works on Linux without drivers it'll work on android most likely. I have used several dacs in combination with several android device and when they get recognised all audio output will be routed to the dac over usb

NoldirNice, I didn't know that. Any way to tell if this will work that way? I'm assuming not, since it wasn't mentioned in the description.

dizzidDon't pin me down on it, but I believe the used chip (PCM2704 ) is actually very well supported under Linux with no added drivers
