Using this in conjunction with a FiiO E09K amp, and a Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 250 Ohm headphones. Haven't had any issues with it at 96 kHz...and the sound quality is sublime.
I don't think you can go wrong with this.

Arcmanovso, are you just using this as a pre-amp? I was thinking about using this with my DT990's as well. but I will just be using it directly from this DAC/AMP.

SoRecklessYes. I'm using the output from the FiiO to drive the 990s.
Believe me, the extra boost is totally worth it, and boy can these 990s take it.
